Meet the owner
Emad Tawfik.
Emad came from Egypt in the 1990s and has spent 25 years in menswear. Bronte is his shop.
He is not a name on a page somewhere. He is in the shop, on the second floor of Palisades Center, most days you walk in — and he is the one who puts you in the right size, marks the hem and tells you straight when a jacket is wrong on you.
That is the whole reason to walk into a menswear shop rather than order blind and hope.
What that means for you
One person, answerable for it.
25 years of putting men in suits is the part you cannot get from a size chart, and it is standing behind the counter.
He fits you himself, with a tape, in the shop — 25 years of it, not a size chart and a guess.
Alterations are priced at the counter and done here: a hem is $8, and the waist, the crotch or a taper are $20 each.
If something is wrong, you are talking to the person who can put it right, not to a call centre.
